3 Things That The Bank Owes You

Selecting the best bank for your needs and goals

Why do so many people feel like they owe the bank?

We have this cultural misconception when it comes to “debt.” Dating back to the Depression era children, all the way to today, a lot of our families have taught us to fear debt and to fear the bank, or at the least, feel “less powerful than” the banks.

As with most situations, it is often our own thoughts that dictate our success or failure

If you didn’t know, now you’ll know a few misconceptions you should do away with:

1. A bank is a business and they need to keep you happy.

They have products just like any other business, and you are never limited to one bank or one product. There have been cases of banks insisting they are doing someone a favor, or that this is the only product that a customer can hope for given their situation.

And a lot of people (me included) have fallen for this at least once.

You are not limited. The bank is.
