It is often said that “stillness” brings clarity.

But let’s be clear. It’s not stillness in the environment that you need. It’s stillness within. No matter the occasion or space you are in, center yourself and enjoy the clarity of your senses.

Sit quietly, without judgment and just observe the world around you. Do not comment. Do not assist. Do not interact.

Be a conscious statue

or close to that without seeming insane.

What do you hear? What do you smell? What can you feel?

Among the many things that you see: what actions are people doing? What moods do you detect in their expressions and movements and tone?

This current global pandemic is a once-in-100-year opportunity to observe the reality of people, the environment and the various systems we have created.

The world won’t crumble if you stop your worry for a few minutes.

I would love to hear from you.

What things did you notice? Did anything get confirmed that you already suspected? Did you see any deeper into something or someone? What about within yourself?

Drop your responses and share your perspective. I can’t wait to see what you can teach us.
