A Conservative asked, “What do Liberals want?”

If you ask a moderate or far right conservative what they think a progressive or liberal wants, you’ll hear some pretty insane things, like we want the government to take care of everyone, they think we want everyone to embrace the “gay agenda” or whatever that’s supposed to be, etc…

But as any Democrat or Independent will tell you… what we want is not what Conservative media and talking heads have told their viewers.

Let’s set the record straight:

1. The biggest thing liberal Americans want is: respect for all.

Every person should be respected for their heritage (race), sexuality, gender, economic standing, etc. Your gay or lesbian neighbor is just as safe as any straight person. Your black neighbor is a safe person. Matter of fact, and maybe more importantly…

Any black, gay, Muslim or any other group of people are just as safe as any other. You need to speak and take action with the understanding that All people are safe, caring, and peaceful as a norm.

Every person is equally likely to be a problem as a blessing. A white person is just as likely to wreak havoc as anyone else and if you pay attention to the events around you, you’ll see that.
