In this world, everyone spends most of their time outside. When the weather is too hot, the time is spent in cooler evenings, while in the midst of winter’s bite, the people come out in the midday.
Restaurants are open-air design and some have created enclosed boothspace to increase privacy for patrons. The restaurant staff are paid well for their time and between guests, all surfaces are properly sanitized.
Most buildings have created ample outdoor space, creatively using the outdoors and even rooftops in ways they never had before. The goal being to increase the time spent outdoors.
When people go shopping for groceries, furniture or clothes or whatever, they wear protective facewear to reduce the risk of illness
Everyone continues to enjoy great food, great shopping, and in fact, they are healthier now because the increased time outdoors has improved overall wellbeing.
