It is this fact that causes me to hold on to my stories. I am not courageous enough to allow someone else to alter them to suit some "industry expectation" or trend for some belief that financial gain could not happen with the original work of art that we as writers produce.

I respect those who can give their stories to the world and release, however painful that may be.
