No, Willow Smith, Polyamory is Not the Answer — it’s a “patch”

Allow me to explain…

Most of us will be polyamorous at some point.

Millenials and prior generations just never felt the need to call it a name. We were dating and experiencing bonds with more than one person.

At some point, we either

found someone we could build with or

we recognized by age 25 to 30 that building with a teammate is easier and so we started that search

and within that, most couples chose monogamy and others chose “open” or “partially open” commitments. A lot of the people who chose open relationships didn’t feel the need to announce it to the public… they just did what worked for their partnership.

Why do people choose monogamy?

No honey, it’s not because society says anything. Monogamy has substantial benefits over polyamory, and the supposed benefits of polyamory are not real.
