Stop Hating on Coffeeshop Culture: it is not damaging communication

I have read a few op-eds that say basically the same thing about coffee shop culture and Wifi:

it’s destroying dialogue.

And here are the reasons why I disagree.

#1 I hear all kinds of conversations when I’m at coffee shops.

Every week, I observe business meetings, event planning, political action discussions, moms and dads groups, authors, teens in study groups, and more.

Besides these, there are families and groups of friends all together sharing conversation over coffee.

Of course, much of my US travel has been to southern states, and the ones I visited coffee shops in were Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Mississippi and Florida. So if you are from another state, please…
