The one thing "they" (conservatives) and the rest of us are forgetting--- the 14th amendment says we are all to be protected the same under the law---in the interpretation and applications of the law.

In other words, sentencing for crime convictions, being given representation in government, free to participate in business just as anyone else, etc.

Non-profit and even for profit entities, do not fall into the 14th amendment's requirements. There is no law being unfairly applied when a university teaches about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

There is no law involved when a business fund organized to support Black owned businesses, only funds Black owned businesses.

None of the above examples imposes laws upon others and these do not remove a person's rights under the law.

I don't know who's running the legal defense in protection of our rights to nurture each other and educate each other, but the 14th amendment is clear --- equal protection under the law.

This amendment is to protect us from Jim Crow era laws that prevented people from voting, allowed for discrimination in mortgage lending and much more!

So... is there a way for us to raise this legal matter more loudly and boldly? Because the only people who are breaking the terms of the 14th amendment are the Republican party and their people in the Supreme Court.
