This is how we should all respond to "where are you from?" It's beautiful to know deep history about your family. All too often Americans can only give info about their grandparent's stories. Very few know the stories and tales further back.

I encourage folks to dive into their geneaology and educate the generations. There is a confidence as well as a humility when you learn about the trek your ancestors have traveled to get to you.

On my father's side, I am blessed to have records going back 7 generations! on my mother's side, I know some about my grandparents but only a few notes about my great grandparents.
