This is why you should say “No” to yourself more

A message only for the ones seeking growth

If you are content in complacency, then this article is not for you. Keep on saying “Yes” to whatever it is that complacency and stagnation requires.

But as for the rest of us…

I know you’re thinking it sounds strange. With all the talk about saying “Yes” to you and “No” to the world, how could i possibly encourage you to deny yourself? To say “No?”

Why?

Because we don’t say No in the times that we should.

We don’t tell ourselves “No” when social media distracts us while reading an article that is part of our educational growth. We don’t say “No” often enough to foods that do our bodies harm. We don’t say “No” often enough when we want to choose an afternoon on the couch over taking a walk or run.

You need to say No to you, when it’s YOU who is distracting from your goals.

It’s about accountability.

You are the most powerful person in your life, and also the person most likely to hold you back.

What are your goals?
