What Empowered Women Really Need in Relationships (from Journey of a Thousand Dates)

I don’t need you to carry me

or save me from disaster

I don’t need you to give me the world

All I ask is

that you walk with me

build with me

I ask that I am a solid presence for you

and you for me

I only ask that we see each other as SOURCE

never as burden or strain

My aim is focused on achievement so no worries about the senseless nagging or discussion of the non-essential others

We are both building … instead of waiting for some future day of wishful simpler times

Let’s find those simpler times in the present as allies putting in the work as one
