When I first saw your title, I of course assumed the worst, and like a protective moma bear, I was ready to correct you!

One of my friends calls me the bonus-mom to her beautiful trans-daughter and I have known her before and after transition. My bonus-daughter is a brilliant, creative and gentle spirit, so to know that she is living in a world that so often chastises her, it is such a blessing to have read how you responded to this young girl and to pray that your story will help others do the same.
