You have a choice to make: how will you invest your time and energy?

There’s no right or wrong answer in general, because it depends on what you want from life. If you want relaxation and growth is not on the agenda, then it won’t take much. Just enjoy whatever job you can get and keep your costs low.

But if you tell me that you want a financially secure foundation and want to transform the community around you, and/or transform your lifestyle, etc…

in that case, there is a right and a wrong answer.

If you don’t put in work, you won’t have any of that.

The Self-Care Extremism

I am not suggesting that you neglect yourself. Not at all. You need rest and restoration. We all do. But… some folks are using “self care” talk as an excuse for procrastination and apathy.

There’s been a major trend on doing as little as possible and expecting more. It’s not just younger generations; this is a talking point among all age groups. We’re not talking about physical labor, as in cleaning toilets or tilling…
